The Finished Work

The rooms and spaces our clients live in now. The full story behind each one — befores, demo, and progress — is broken down by category below.

Basement Finishing

Unfinished Shell to Finished Living Space

A bare concrete shell with exposed framing became a full living floor — open living space, a private styling room, and a complete bathroom built from scratch. Six weeks, start to finish.

Unfinished basement with bare stud framing and exposed insulation

Where we started. Bare studs, exposed insulation, and a concrete floor — no walls, no wiring, no plan yet on paper.

Six weeks later
Finished basement with dark wood flooring, recessed lighting, and finished staircase

The same room today. Framed, insulated, drywalled, and finished with wide-plank flooring and recessed lighting throughout.

The staircase, before & after
Basement staircase framed in raw plywood treads during construction

We rebuilt the stair run in raw plywood first — getting the rise and run right before a single finish went on.

Turns into
Finished basement staircase with stained treads, white risers, and wood handrail

Stained treads, crisp white risers. The same stairs, now the first thing you see coming down.

Then the bathroom
Basement bathroom shower being tiled with marble-look porcelain

There was no bathroom down here. We framed it, ran the plumbing, and tiled the shower from the pan up.

Becomes
Finished basement bathroom with frameless glass shower and marble-look tile

A full bathroom, built from nothing. Frameless glass, floor-to-ceiling porcelain, and a hex-tile pan.

Decks & Outdoor Living

Six Decks, Six Different Problems

Full tear-downs, composite conversions, extensions, new builds over poured concrete, and refinishes. Three of them, told start to finish.

Failing two-story deck with rotted framing before demolition

Sugar Hill. Rotted framing, a sagging rail, and posts that had given up. Past the point of patching.

Torn down & rebuilt
New full-width deck with dual staircases spanning the rear of the house

Twice the deck it was. Now spanning the full rear of the house with dual staircases down to the yard.

Next: wood to composite
Weathered gray wood deck with cupped and splintering boards

Alpharetta. Splintering, cupped boards that needed sanding and staining every single year.

Becomes
New Trex composite deck with updated railing overlooking the tree line

Trex composite, picture-framed. No more annual refinishing — just rinse it off.

And a full rebuild
Old brown deck with dated lattice skirting

Marietta. Dated lattice skirting and a structure that needed to come apart to the posts.

Turns into
Rebuilt deck with clean solid skirting and black metal railing

Clean solid skirt, black metal rail. Rebuilt from new framing and matched to the home's windows.

Bathroom Remodeling

Full Redesigns and Smart Refreshes

Complete tear-outs with tile and glass, plus cabinet refinishing that transforms a room without replacing it.

Dated cream double vanity with worn finish

Solid cabinets, dated finish. The boxes were sound — there was no reason to tear them out.

Refinished, not replaced
Refinished charcoal double vanity with brushed nickel hardware

Sprayed to a factory-smooth charcoal. Reads like new millwork, at a fraction of replacement cost.

Or go all the way
Bathroom with freestanding tub, frameless glass shower, and black hex tile floor

A full redesign in Gainesville. Floor-to-ceiling porcelain, frameless glass, and a freestanding tub set to the window.

Whole-Home Renovations

Every Room, Inside and Out

Three full-home projects — flooring, paint, trim, fireplaces, baths, and exterior, coordinated under one plan.

Living room with dated ornate white fireplace and worn carpet

The room nobody used. An ornate white mantel that dated the whole house, sitting on tired carpet.

Becomes the centerpiece
Fireplace refinished in deep black with new hardwood floors and white French doors

Refinished in deep black. New hardwood underfoot, French doors repainted crisp white — same footprint, different house.

Then the outside
Home exterior with dated tan stucco and overgrown landscaping

Same house, from the street. Dated tan stucco and landscaping that had grown over the front.

Turns into
Home exterior repainted gray with fresh landscaping

Repainted and cleared. Fresh color, trimmed beds, and a front walk you can actually see.

Interior & Exterior Painting

Prep First, Then Color

Full repaints inside and out, stucco and surface repair, and porch refinishing. The prep is what makes it last.

Cream siding with peeling stucco on the retaining wall

Peeling stucco, tired color. The wall had to be repaired first — paint over failing stucco just fails again.

Repaired, then painted
Bright white siding with charcoal base and repaired retaining wall

Bright white over a charcoal base. Repaired, sealed, and finished so it holds up.

And a front porch
Worn and faded stained porch decking

Faded, worn decking. The first thing every guest walked across.

Becomes
Finished cream porch floor lit at night with white columns and stone

An entry worth walking up to. Columns and stone masked to a clean line, deck boards refinished.

Chimney Chase & Siding Repair

Rotted Chase, Rebuilt and Wrapped

A failing three-story chimney chase stripped to the framing, re-wrapped, re-sided, and painted to match the home.

Three-story chimney chase stripped to framing and wrapped in house wrap

Stripped to the framing. Three stories up, re-wrapped to keep water out before anything went back on.

New siding goes on
New siding being installed on the chimney chase

Fresh siding installed board by board, matched to the existing profile on the house.

Finished
Finished chimney chase painted to match the house

You'd never know it was rebuilt. Painted to match — the repair disappears into the house.

Concrete & Driveways

Cracked and Settling to Fresh Pour

Cut out, hauled off, re-formed, and poured — with clean control joints and a finish that matches the approach.

Crew saw-cutting and removing the old driveway concrete

Cut out and hauled off. The old slab comes out clean so the new pour sits on solid ground.

Formed & poured
Forms set and ready for the new concrete pour

Forms set and squared, with control joints planned before a single yard of concrete arrives.

Finished
Freshly poured and finished concrete driveway

A driveway that sheds water. Fresh pour, clean joints, and a finish that matches the approach.

Stone Wall Rebuild

A Failing Retaining Wall, Rebuilt From the Base

A separating stacked-stone wall and fire pit surround taken apart, re-based, and rebuilt so it holds.

Stacked stone retaining wall separating and pulling apart

Pulling apart at the seam. Water had gotten behind it and the wall was walking away from the patio.

Down to the base
Wall taken apart and trench excavated down to the base

Taken apart stone by stone and excavated to the footing — restacking it on a bad base would just fail again.

Rebuilt to hold
Stone wall restacked and rebuilt on a new compacted base

Re-based and restacked. Same stone, properly supported, with drainage behind it this time.

Garage Floor Coating

Bare Concrete to Showroom Finish

Ground, prepped, and coated in a gray flake epoxy that resists hot tires, oil, and salt.

Bare stained concrete garage floor masked off before coating

Bare, stained concrete. Ground down and masked off — epoxy only holds if the prep is right.

Coated & flaked
Epoxy flake being broadcast across the wet floor

Flake broadcast across the wet coat by hand, then sealed under a clear topcoat.

Becomes
Finished gray flake epoxy garage floor with a clean sheen

A floor you can hose off. Resists hot tires, oil, and road salt — and it wipes clean.
